Got a Horrible Boss? We've Got the Answers

If you haven’t had a tough boss just yet, chances are you will one day. Working under a supervisor who may not be the nicest person can be a daunting task. But don’t worry. This Intern Queen Campus Ambassador has got the perfect step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Know that you are there for a reason. You were chosen or hired for the internship because you are qualified, prepared and meant to be there. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Step 2: Continue to work hard and improve your work skills. Complete any task with the utmost enthusiasm and level of professionalism.

Step 3: Keep your cool. Don’t lash out at anyone because no one deserves to be treated with anything but kindness.

Step 4: Focus on the positives. You are getting a once in a lifetime experience wherever you intern. So stay focused and confident.

Now, remember that everyone can be having a bad day. But, if you feel constantly disrespected and don’t know how to handle it, you can always talk to the human resources department to address your problem.
