Are you an Intern Queen Fanatic? Do you catch yourself checking out new listings and internship tips on a daily basis? We’d love to hear from you and have you apply for our Intern Queen Campus Ambassador Program.
Our Campus Ambassador’s are responsible for testing new products, providing feedback, and helping us spread the Intern Queen message. Ambassador’s must volunteer at most 5 hours per month and must currently attend high school, community college, or a 4-year college/university.
To apply, please send one paragraph explaining why it’s important for your campus to understand the need for internships. Please send your applications along with your contact information, school you attend, and your year in school to alyssa@internqueen.com.

Welcome to Summer 2010 Internship Season ! I know everyone is anxious about internships and each week we have tons of questions coming in about the internship application process, interview process, and how to be a standout intern.
And so, we introduce #internchat ! Get excited everyone. Not only will you get my @internqueen advice but you will also get advice and perspective from @heatherhuhman (Heather Huhman),the founder of ComeRecommended.com.

Everyone should be applying for summer internships, even if you’re graduating in May (it’s always best to have a Plan B). #InternChat will be a forum for you to voice all of your internship questions, stories and comments. Both myself (@internqueen) and Huhman (@heatherhuhman) will share our internship expertise during these bi-weekly, hour-long chats in the Twitterverse.

My National College Speaking Tour takes brings me to colleges and universities across the country. In fact, my New Year’s present from SouthWest was my title of “A-List Member.” I no longer have to print my own boarding pass – amazing!
On a recent flight, an article in Spirit Magazine, Southwest’s in-flight publication, caught my eye. The article, “Reverse Internships”, states that employers and students should switch roles and employers should be the interns. The article also explores the idea of a contracted remote internship position.
