As the program nears its end, it’s time to talk legacy. Many receive job offers and with others we teach you how to market your profile and put it in front of any employer out there. And then we’ll celebrate with a party.

Responsibilities include contacting perspective guests; scheduling interviews; creating surveys; updating websites; write and post show notes; write and publish press releases; and promote shows and interviews via social media.

As an Executive Assistant intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work side-by-side with Internationally Known Strategic Business Coach, Kelli Claypool, on various projects and the day-to-day operations of maintaining successful businesses.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments; keeping the online calendar updated; check and answer emails; follow-up with clients; light transcription; make travel arrangements; organize webinars and teleseminars; and update websites.

For this position, the Intern must have typing skills with accurate speed; knowledge of using email; Google docs; and have other general business office experience. Must be detailed oriented.

1 TEAM, 4 MONTHS, 8 TRAVEL ARTICLES and A DETAILED SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

College Tourist is looking for adventurous, vibrant and socially connected students to help promote the College Tourist message on their campus and beyond. You will be part of a team which will be involved in fun marketing and social media challenges each week to promote the College Tourist brand. Team members will also create an author’s profile which will be a permanent record of their work.

Responsibilities include:

• Fun promotional weekly tasks on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
• Ambassadors will pitch, research and write articles on relevant travel topics -- using our educational writing templates -- twice per month.
• Represent the College Tourist brand on your campus using provided promotional materials.
• Ambassadors will contribute to a team-run social media promotional event on their campus at the end of the program (full instructions and guidance will be provided).
• Interns will be expected to participate fully in the program, including all social media tasks, and will be required to provide reports of their activity.
• The internship will begin January 15th, 2016 and run through May 15th.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANTIDATE WILL HAVE:

• STUDIED ABROAD OR TRAVELED EXTENSIVELY AS A YOUNG ADULT.
• A strong interest in writing and creating engaging articles targeted at the college student demographic.
• Related experience and a strong interest in social media, including knowledge of the major social media networks. Students will need to be currently active on all major social media platforms.
• Excellent writing and grammatical skills with a sound ability to edit content.
• Creative and imaginative thinking.
• Strong social skills, both online and off.
• Strong belief in the benefits of study abroad and travel.
