Internship Duties:

If you are looking for hands-on experience where you can have a lot of input and not just told what to do, then you are in the right place. I am looking for someone that excels in areas of social media (ie., twitter, blogging, etc.) I really need a right hand person that can get a handle on the latest trends and help me bring my company to the next level. Your input and suggestions about any advertising, media, graphics, blogging and writing will always be appreciated.

Internship duties will include, but are not limited to:
-Entrepreneurial spirit  & outgoing personality
-Manage updating client/prospects in computer
-Help with email blasts from concepts to execution
-Monitor, engage and update various social media platforms (includes Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest)
-Sole responsibility for Twitter account and open to any suggestions regarding other media
-Update blog posts, as needed 
-Passionate about Social Media
 -Friendly and conversational 
-Great writing skills for press releases
-Must be detail-oriented, a team player and technologically savvy . Good Grammar and English skills 
-You will not be helping me organize, just help with the back-end of the business.

about 5-10 hours a week
Hours are flexible/ very informal relaxed setting

Qualifications:
•Majors in film, journalism, communications, marketing, art, graphic design, business, and public relations fields preferred
•Writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills
•Strong copy editing skills, a strong command of English spelling and grammar
•General computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) PC and MAC literate
•Demonstrates interest in music, entertainment, fashion and pop culture
•Be able to take direction but also take initiative
•Team player who is willing to pitch in and help out a definite plus — creativity welcome!
