Since our founding in 2005, The Humane League’s mission has been to save the lives of as many animals as possible and to reduce as much animal cruelty as we can. We want a world where all animals are treated with the same respect and compassion that we show to our beloved family dog or cat.

Originally founded in Philadelphia, The Humane League has grown to be a leading national presence for farm animals with offices in Philadelphia, Boston, Maryland, Dallas, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco. Funding comes from our tens of thousands of supporters across the world. We raise awareness by leafleting, tabling at festivals and concert venues, and distributing informational literature around the city.

Internship Duties: 

• Compiling data for Humane League Labs.
• Developing public relations and media outlet skills
• Working with restaurants and cafes to implement new vegan items on the menu

• Helping to organize, promote and execute special events
• Assist in promoting and planning our Humane Education Presentation.

Ludlows Cocktail Co. - Marketing/PR Intern

Ludlows Cocktail Co. is a local LA start-up spirits brand crafting all-natural, fun, and innovative premium consumer products. Our first product line, Ludlows Jelly Shots, are the first ever 30-proof, pre-packaged Jelly Shot made with actual spirits (like 2 year barrel aged straight Indiana bourbon whisky) and real juices. All 5 flavors just launched at all CA Total Wine & More stores and will hit Fresh & Easy shelves starting December 1.

Internship Duties: 

+Social media calendar and posting strategy
+Store outreach and research
+Product demos
+Work events/trade shows
+Craft pitches for the beverage market
+Industry research
+Support PR team on outreach and messaging
+Think outside of the box! We want to disrupt the industry, not play by the same old rules.

Requirements:

+Must have a car and live in Los Angeles
+Must have a knowledge and passion for the spirits industry
+Must have great writing and communication skills
+Must be willing and able to work remotely using Google Docs and Facetime
+Must have marketing experience and a hunger to learn more

Stella McCartney’s corporate office in Manhattan is able to offer students who are studying a relevant degree the opportunity to undertake an internship with the brand. Students will be able to gain valuable experience a fast-paced environment of fashion Public Relations, in particular the work experiences will include:
- Tagging publications for mention of the Stella McCartney brand
- Daily press clippings
- Organizing press clipping with Photoshop
- Checking-in and preparing samples for fashion publications, stylists, and celebrities
- Coordinating samples; pickups and deliveries

Katz Public Relations is an up and coming Entertainment PR Agency seeking a motivated self-starter to join our small yet hardworking team. The internship will be part-time as well as occasional evening/weekend events throughout Los Angeles.

Internship Duties:

- Finding contacts
- Drafting bios, press releases and pitches
- Covering events: red carpet, fittings, interviews, gifting suites, etc.
