Internship Duties: 

Dotbox is seeking a Web Production Intern with an interest in all things Ecommerce and experience in the digital space. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated and highly-motivated individual who has a drive to gain hands-on experience in the world of Ecommerce production for high-end luxury brands, contributing heavily to our technical testing processes and taking ownership of small projects.

Key Responsibilities:
•Perform regular and thorough user acceptance testing of site functionality and page display, ensuring that features work and appear consistently in multiple device, browser and system configuration
• Log issue reports for development team
•Track issue status and report progress to manager
•Assist on creation of regular site performance reports
•Support producers on execution of client-related tasks

Qualifications:
•Currently majoring in or recent graduate in Computer Science or Information Architecture preferred
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay current on technology trends
•Strong understanding of Ecommerce sites and best practices
•Strong communication and presentation skills required
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive required
• Experience using content management systems a plus
•Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop a plus
•Knowledge of HTML and CSS basics a plus

Bayard Advertising is a well respected and established agency located in the chic flatiron area of NYC. We specialize in recruitment advertising, brand creation and have a thriving promotions division. We are looking for a creative and energetic individual who is passionate about advertising.

Internship Duties: 

The intern will have interaction with management and will be part of the support to the sales, marketing and design teams. Intern duties will include writing blogs,updating social media venues as well as brainstorming social media avenues. Candidate must be highly knowledgeable of social media venues such as Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress etc. This individual should be a good multi-tasker, have excellent communication, organizational and proofreading skills, be detailed orientated and be able to perform basic administrative tasks.

An interest in art and advertising is desireable and graphic design experience is a big plus.

This is a fall 2013 semester internship program. The hours and days are reasonably flexible but we are looking for a commitment of approx. 12 hours a week. The internship is unpaid but there will be a stipend of $500 at the end of the internship.
