Graphic Design Internship / Closet Rich
ClosetRich.com began as part online destination part personal consignment service devoted to bringing customers the of chicest pre-loved and vintage clothing from one coveted closet into another. It's founder, Elizabeth Kott, personally visits the home's of her clients (most of whom work in the fashion industry) to help them streamline their closets and leaves with their eye-catching castaways to sell on the site.
Any items lacking that “je ne sais quoi”…aka sell-ability, are donated on the client's behalf to various charities, including Dress For Success - here in Los Angeles
Since it's launch in Aug. 2011, Closet Rich has garnered media attention from countless online and print outlets including Lucky.com and Entrepreneur Magazine. This past December Closet Rich developed it's first exclusive product with jewelry line, Bones + Feathers Collective, with 3 other exclusive to the site products lined up for the coming months. In addition to working with her client's wardrobes, Kott also styles and works as a creative brand consultant under the Closet Rich moniker, recently collaborating with LA based companies Roseark, Penelope & Coco and Cotton Citizen. Closet Rich is rapidly growing, with plans to expand to men's apparel within the next year and is looking for creatively minded, organized and driven students to join the team.
Interested in building your design portfolio? How about working hands-on in further developing the creative vision for an online fashion brand? Closet Rich's founder, Elizabeth Kott is looking for a graphic design intern. Duties will include weekly graphic design projects such as logo designs and photo retouching. Along with exhibiting a passion for the industry, a meticulous eye and a like-minded aesthetic are essential. Applicants must be driven, self starters who are looking for an opportunity to lend their vision to any project they are assigned. Advanced Photoshop skills are a strongly preferred.
