An internship with Warner Music Group provides students with the opportunity to obtain real world experience at one of the top music companies in the industry. Our internships provide on-the-job training by allowing interns to shadow industry professionals in a variety of departments. Every intern is assigned a special project that will both assist them in increasing their understanding of how each department operates, and aid the department in addressing a business need. Bio: 

Laura Ziskin Productions (Pretty Woman, Spiderman) and Stand Up To Cancer (standup2cancer.org) is seeking motivated and hard-working applicants for their Development Internship Program. Located on the Sony lot in downtown Culver City, this production office needs self-starters with a positive attitude and a willingness to help out wherever needed. RealTalkFM is an urban variety radio talk show dedicated to the mission of providing

VeVo Graphic Design/Web Music Internship

Bio: 

Vevo, a music video website created by Universal Music Group, SONY Music, EMI, and YouTube, is currently seeking a Graphic Web Design Intern with proven experience designing web pages, promos, campaigns, and interactive Flash presentations. In addition to building innovative and creative products the successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of user interface and how the design enhances the user’s experience with the site.

Candidates for this position must possess the following skills and qualities:

Internship Description: 

We are looking for both a general PRESS intern (applicant should be pursuing a journalism career or program) for full-time to assist the publicity manager and a couple of general interns who will dabble in different aspects of the company (can be full or part-time). We also are looking for someone with VIDEO production skills - final cut pro, avid, etc.

Although many of our artists are from Latin America, most of their fan bases are English-speaking, and the media we deal with include Rolling Stone, LA Times, KCRW, MTV, and many other blogs/digital outlets. Nacional Records is a growing indie label with distribution from ADA/Warner Music Group. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and a serious interest in a career in the music industry as well as digital promotion. We prefer that the applicant have some sort of experience working in this field in some capacity, even if at their own universities. Being Bi-lingual is a plus.

Part-time interns are expected to be available in our office at least 20 hrs/week and full-time interns on a maximum of 40 hrs/week. Interns will receive academic credit, free CDs and concert tickets, as well as the opportunity to have an ʺinʺ in the music industry. Spanish-language skills are a plus, though not required.
