Bio: 

The Donners’ Company is run by esteemed producer Lauren Shuler Donner and legendary director Richard Donner. The company is located in Beverly Hills.

Lauren’s credits include: X-MEN 1-3, SHE’S THE MAN, CONSTANTINE, ANY GIVEN SUNDAY, YOU’VE GOT MAIL, FREE WILLY, DAVE, PRETTY IN PINK, ST. ELMO’S FIRE, and numerous other films.

Richard’s credits include: 16 BLOCKS, The LETHAL WEAPON series, CONSPIRACY THEORY, MAVERICK, RADIO FLYER, SCROOGED, GOONIES and SUPERMAN

Our projects CIRQUE DU FREAK, WOLVERINE, HOTEL FOR DOGS and THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES are currently in post production.

Internship Description: 

This is primarily a development internship; the intern will not be on set during production. Interns will be asked to read scripts and write story coverage, do research into available stories and ideas, fill in for assistants while they are away from their desk, and fulfill general administrative duties including copying scripts, sending faxes, inquiring about acquisition rights, answering heavy volumes of phones, and possibly running errands.

Additional Info: 

All majors are welcome, but a strong interest in learning about the many facets of feature film development and/or pre-production is required. We are looking for motivated, organized students with positive attitudes who are able to work well in a fast-paced, busy environment. They will also need excellent communication skills. Interns will not only gain an understanding of the inner workings of a very active, successful production company, but also have the opportunity to see the film industry from an insider’s seat. Our internship program is designed to give students an idea of how the business works in order to broaden their possibilities after college.
