2 ways to help stay in shape during the summer months

School is out and the weather is nice! You may be either busy with an internship or job this summer and you are trying to figure out how to keep fit during your busy schedule.

If you are working near a big city, find a local gym. A great way to stay in shape and have fun are fitness classes. Join a spinning class; it's a great way to build endurance and tone muscles. Zumba classes are the latest craze, they are Latin dance classes, and in Zumba you work on your cardio and toning muscles. There are plenty of classes at local gyms and you can find cheap deals on classes on sites like groupon.com and lifebooker.com.

If you are more of an outdoor person, a great way to exercise is running or biking in parks. Being in the New York area there are plenty of running and biking paths to choose from. Another idea is exercising on the beach, in fact exercising on the sand is actually better for joints so you will be putting very little pressure on them.

These fitness plans should keep you entertained all summer working hard to stay healthy while having fun.
