4 Exercises To A Quick Summer Body

Summer is all about relaxing, interning and soaking up the sun! All of which sounds great, until you remember that it is also bathing suit season. Having that perfect bikini body is something that always causes stress and unnecessary anxiety! Summer is here which means that there is not much time to whip your body into shape. Here are some fun workout tips that are easy... and most importantly, they work!
Since the weather is going to be nicer out, some of your workouts can be done outside, and may even help you get a tan. Start off by finding a hill or if you are in your gym increase the incline on your treadmill. This is going to help to tone your muscles, while also making them more lean and increasing your cardio endurance. If you are not an avid gym-goer, you could start interval training. This means you could run or jog for a block or a couple of minutes and then walk and continue with this pattern for as long as you can. Another great exercise tip is to jump rope. Jumping rope is one of the absolute best ways to stay in shape. It is great for your legs and your butt and will be a fun activity to do.
Most girls think that the most crucial part of the body that they want to work on would be their stomach. There are simple moves that can be done just over the course of a couple of weeks to get your stomach to be flat. First you can do planks. To do this, keep your forearms on the floor with your elbows directly under your shoulders. Then you are going to tighten your abs and keep your body as straight as you can for as long as you can. The suggested amount of reps is 20, but don’t worry if you cannot do that amount right away; working out is all about building up strength. Another move that will get the job done is called a V-Up. Begin by laying down flat on your back with your hands at your side. Point your toes, tighten your abs, and lift your back and legs into the air reaching your arms towards your toes. Hold this for about two counts and then return to the original position. The suggested rep count is again 20, but it is important to build your way up to that.
Diet and exercise are a key part to living a healthy lifestyle. Although working out may not be the most fun activity, there are ways in which to make it fun. Try working out with a friend, you can bond over your progress, or try taking classes at the gym like zumba or kickboxing! It is also important to write down what your goal is and what accomplishments you have achieved. Good-luck and don’t forget to have fun!
