After working long hours at your internship, your part time job, squeezing in phone chats with the parents and making time for regular eating and sleeping, you may find yourself drained completely.”I need a break,” your mind, body and mouth begin to scream, as the stress begins to build. To ensure you stay alert, alive, awake and enthusiastic take a break from that busy schedule and see these four movies (of many great ones!) debuting this summer.
1. Marvels: The Avengers
Now Playing in theaters, grab some friends to go see the greatest superheroes EVER in one movie, fighting side by side. Filled with tons of awesome eye candy (hint: Chris Hemsworth as Thor!!), a powerful team of superheroes come together to fight an evil being who threatens the Earth. Even for those not to keen on comics the plot and action keeps your attention and you on the edge of your seat.
2. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted
Now that you’ve made it to adulthood, don’t you just wish you could be a kid again sometimes? Ahh the times when the only bills we had were the paper, dollar ones from monopoly. Embrace your inner child and go see a feel good comedy sure to keep you laughing from beginning to end. Join your favorite zoo animals as they try to make their way back to the big apple. Along the way they join a traveling circus, reinventing it in true Madagascar fashion. Also currently in theaters!
Coming to a theater near you June 29 prepare to laugh nonstop forgetting all about the fax machine drama at work earlier. Starring Mark Wahlberg the story, from the creator of Family Guy, is about a man and his precious teddy bear (Ted) who comes to life as a result of a childhood wish.
Watch Jordin Sparks make her film debut alongside legend, the late Whitney Houston, in her final movie set in the 1960’s. Sparks plays one of three sisters who form a girl group and quickly become Motown sensations, but the price of fame quickly threatens to tear the family apart. This is the perfect movie for a sassy intern looking for a feel good drama and amazing music. In theaters August 17.
