4 Relaxing Things I Did This Weekend

Hi All -

I hope you had an amazing weekend - I needed it and I'm sure you did to. Here are a few weekend highlights that I'm so thankful for....

1. Had a Friday night at the local mall. In Los Angeles, there's lots of pressure to eat at the hottest restaurants and go to the trendiest places....for the most part...I could care less about all of that. I happily spent my Friday night at the local mall with a friend and had a very trendy dinner at the food court. I cannot tell you how much fun we had - relaxing and being silly at the mall. A much needed break.

2. Started the show Downton Abbey. I have to admit - when my friend told me I needed to watch a show that was on PBS, I was a bit thrown off. I hadn't watched PBS in years! You MUST watch this show - Downton Abbey is amazing and you can stream the first season on Netflix. You can buy the second season on ITUNES. Get into it ASAP! You will be obsessed!

3. Had a dinner party with friends. You all know that I'm always traveling so whenever I'm in one place for the weekend I take it upon myself to plan something with my best friends in Los Angeles. This weekend we all chipped in and had a big pot luck, wine, and game night at a friends house. Most of us made things off of our Pinterest boards (to be honest I didn't like my Quinoa make and cheese and don't really need to eat Quinoa ever again), but it was a beautiful set up and we had so much fun. We want to make it a regular thing.

4. Slept In! You know that I'm a "go, go, go" type of girl but everyone needs to sleep in a few times per month (in my opinion). On a normal night, I don't get more than six hours so it's super important that I sleep in when I can. I'm happy to say I was successful and slept until at least 10 or 11 on Saturday and Sunday. I'm well rested for the week and cannot wait for a great week!

Looking Ahead: I cannot WAIT for the Bachelor season finale tomorrow night - even though we all know who he picks. I'm also going to hang out and work from San Diego this week which will be gorgeous (per usual) and next week I'm headed to NYC!

Have a great week everyone. I hope you all had an amazing weekend.
