The Fabulous Life of Kim Osborne, Intern Queen Extraordinaire
This blog is written by Kim, our campus ambassador from University of South Carolina!
7am: I have to get all eight hours of my beauty sleep. Zzz
7:45am: After hitting snooze twice, I check the weather. It’s a high of 76 degrees in Columbia, South Carolina. #IlovetheSouth #bejealous
8:40am: I check my email and Twitter while waiting for my Marketing teacher to show up for class; big exam on Wednesday!
10am: Tummy is grumbling so I stop by Chickfila for a chicken biscuit breakfast. I decided to dine in and finish a writing assignment for my internship at South Carolina’s Future.
11am: I hit up the public library for some new books to read before bed; currently reading The Help & The Night Circus. I can’t wait until Lauren’s book All Work, No Pay comes out. January 3rd can’t get here fast enough!
2pm: Last class of the day: Public Relations Management. My professor knows his stuff.
4pm: Email my University of South Carolina Intern Queen helpers to set up a meeting time to flyer campus in preparation for the book launch. #InternQueenBook
5pm: Finalize all my arrangements for my Language Speed Dating event tomorrow. Last semester, I studied abroad in Australia and now I am a student ambassador for the Embassy of Australia. Cheers!
7pm: Conference call with the other campus ambassadors to discuss blog topics and Twitter promotions
8pm: Sorority chapter meeting: I told all my lovely Kappa sisters my plan for getting the Intern Queen to speak next semester!
9pm: Peruse the latest internship postings on InternQueen.com; maybe I’ll apply to be one of Lauren’s spring interns.
12pm: Double check the planner for tomorrow’s activities and snuggle under my covers. Night y’all!
