Sample Sales: this past week I went to my first sample sale. Given the crazy rumors you hear, it was a great experience. Being able to get designer goods at a fraction of the cost? Who wouldn’t want to do that? Sample Sale Ave will keep you updated with all of the upcoming sales!

Do you religiously watch Project Runway and wish you could hang out with Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and Michael Kors? Me, too. Unfortunately I can’t tell you where to do that, but to get a little piece of Project Runway head over to their fabric store Mood. It’s a really cool space to visit if you’re familiar with it on the show!

Most of us are familiar with Sex and the City and their weekly brunches, right? For a similar experience, visit Cafeteria! I hope to go there one weekend soon before I leave the city.

Window shop at the “Three B’s”: Bergdorf’s, Barneys, and Bendels. These luxurious department stores aren’t to be missed. I can’t guarantee you’ll be able to have a shopping spree at these stores, but they are certainly worth the trip.

Those three stops are sure to put you in a shopping mood! Head to Soho to visit some of the best vintage shops and other stores in the city. Here is New York Magazine’s list of vintage stores in Soho.

I’m a hoarder of fashion magazines so when I discovered Around the World fashion publication store, I was in love. I don’t want to tell you how long I can spend in this store. There are various fashion publication stores in Fashion District, but I pass this one everyday on my way to work so it’s a popular stop for me to make!

Explore all of Fashion Avenue and Fashion District. You’re bound to seem some great street style and maybe find some great little places on your own!

I’ve yet to visit, but I’m anxious to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the Prada and Schiaparelli Exhibit!

Did I forget anything? Feel free to let me know what’s on your NYC Fashion Guide!
