By now, physically everyone is back at school. Mentally, our minds might still be enjoying the holidays. As we seek motivation for studying, we also seek our beds from lack of energy. Working out, as contradicting as it may seem, will actually help you gain energy. I compiled a quick list of some 20-minute or less; fatigue-fighting exercises you can do in your room.
1) Calm Energy: Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi: These low impact workouts stretch your entire body out and reduces muscle tension while gently strengthening your body.
2) Quick Energy: Jumping Lunges/Squats, Jumping Jacks: These quick-burst workouts don’t need a lot of time to get your heart rate up, boost energy and get you a killer booty!
3) Exhilarating Energy: Dancing, Kickboxing: These higher intensity workouts release stress and endorphins. Plus, it will put a smile on your face!
Just remember to breath and Good-luck this semester!
