Find it hard to fit in a meal? I have just the thing!
Sometimes it’s hard to fit in meals during busy days filled with classes and interning. It seems easier to just skip meals but in the end that’s not the healthy way to go. In order to keep your energy up you need to take in adequate nutrients. Here’s a recipe for a quick and easy shake that you can take with you and is filled with tons of protein for those long days.
• 1 frozen banana (unpeel it then freeze it or the peel gets stuck on it)
• 1 tbs of almond butter
• 1 date
• 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (vegan or whey, I prefer the vegan)
• ice (optional if you want it colder)
Blend and enjoy!
