How to Refresh Your Workout Routine

Long days spent interning, working, or sitting in a challenging class are exhausting. Undoubtedly, you will end your grueling day with very little motivation to exercise. Luckily, there are simple ways to spice up your routine!
When the sun is shining, take advantage of Mother Nature and shift your workout outdoors! Research a nearby trail to hike, or a lake to jog around. Even a simple outdoor power walk with a friend can be a great way to catch up on gossip while exercising. If you are lucky enough to live near the beach, work your body while listening to the waves and soaking up the sun.
If you choose to stay inside the gym, look for a new class to try. Recent favorites of mine are CrossFit, boxing, and boot camp. At first, these may seem like a daunting challenge, but gym classes are a great form of motivation. You are provided a qualified instructor to give detailed directions, and you can enjoy the company of others in the class. Look out for new classes and summer specials at your gym. You never know, you may find your new favorite workout!
Do not let the stress of a long day keep you from an adventurous workout. Never be afraid to experiment; remain open-minded and utilize your energy to have some fun! You will never see the results until you try…and your best body yet is waiting to be discovered!
