Spring is fully in swing and summer will be here before we all know it! Summer means plenty of relaxing and hopefully a fabulous vacation. What if you could combine both of those things while getting a great workout and staying active? That sounds like a dream vacation! Here are some of the top places to go on vacation that will still keep you active.
New York City! New York is always a popular destination but for those who are not into the whole rest and relaxation aspect of a vacation would love this. Visiting this city almost guarantees that you will be walking many miles a day. Not to mention the hot temperatures and millions of people, you will be sweating and getting your daily workout in. Not to mention all of the different tours and hundreds of must see sights, New York is the perfect vacation spot, and there is always something for everyone to see and enjoy!
Grand Canyon! This vacation destination is one that requires you to be active and constantly moving to get to the bottom of the canyon. Some can ride mules to the bottom of the canyon, but if you are looking for a good workout, the hike to the bottom is way to go.
For those who enjoy a nice beach, there are plenty of activities that you can do that are both fun and will be a workout. Surfing. Learning to surf is both fun and a great workout, especially for your legs....And such a cool hobby! Also going for a simple run on the beach is a great way to relax, scope out the beach, have fun, and workout all in one.
Any type of water sport is fun and a great workout whether is be paddle boating, canoeing, windsurfing, parasailing, snorkeling! There are so many ways to just keep moving even while on vacation!
