Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

What we're looking for:

College student with a passion for helping other young women reach their dreams.

Excellent communication skills, experience or interest in entrepreneurship and millennial issues

Lives online – with an active interest in social media

Interest in fundraising and helping recruit new members

A commitment to making a difference as exemplified by leadership experiences, community engagement activities, etc.

Ability to commit 2 semesters (Time commitment will be approximately 1-5 hours per week)

Someone who can work both remotely and from our D.C. office at least one day/week.



Be the main lead on Student Programs; serving as a liaison between our students and 1,000 Dreams Fund staff.

Manage and oversee our Student Advisory Board; a group of 30 young women—in high school and in college--across the country.

Assist in developing organization’s goals and marketing plans

Opportunity to help with our scholarship review process and determination – great experience for those interested in serving on boards or working in the non-profit space

Involvement in all things 1,000 Dreams Fund!

The 1,000 Dreams Fund’s mission is to positively impact the lives of young women here in the U.S. – and we invite you to be a part of our team as our Student Intern. We are currently looking for a college student based in the Washington D.C. area, where are headquarters are located, to join our team as a Fall/Winter Intern.
Hours Required: 
12-15 Hours Per Week
