The AOL On Network features original shows as well as partner content from a library of over 320,000 high quality, short-form videos created by more than 1,000 premier publishers.Through AOL On, this content is available across hundreds of premium destination sites as well as AOL’s owned and operated properties.
About AOL On Publisher Services:
The Publisher Services Account Management team is responsible for optimizing the countless partnerships between AOL On and major publishers such as Scripps, Cox Media, The Weather Channel, Bonnier, American Media, Best of Media and more! As a Junior Account Manager you will assist team members in super-serving our partners to best utilize our network of premium video content. Overtime you will have the opportunity to independently manage your own accounts, assisting partners with product optimization, identifying trends, and more.
•Tracking product performance and network trends (views, performance, etc.)
•Partner with account managers to optimize partner performance
•Creation and maintenance of product guides
•Communicating with partners directly (Business Development, Product Managers at our Publisher Partners)
•Aiding in the QA of product implementations of products on partner sites
•Provide insight on new products, tools and offerings
Requirements for Success:
•You have a passion for, and strong interest in the Digital Media Landscape
•You are a people person with excellent customer service and communication skills
•You are a current college junior, senior, or 2012 graduate
•Previous internship experience in a similar role at a media organization or publisher required
•Strong Excel Skills (Pivot tables, lookups) strongly preferred
•Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with a CMS strongly preferred
•Preferred Majors (Not Required): Marketing, Economics, Business, Psychology, Communications, New Media, Advertising
This is a paid summer internship in our NYC office.
