ART IN AMERICA, first published in 1913, is the premier international art magazine; providing insightful critiques, scholarship and information covering the entire field of visual arts.
Counterbalancing contemporary art with old and modern masters; architecture and performance with decorative arts and film, ART IN AMERICA brings its readers authoritative discussion of art world issues and events as they arise.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

Intern duties include trafficking, proofreading, indexing, clipping and filing, library maintenance, photo research, and correspondence. A background in Art History and/or studio practice is strongly recommended. Good language skills-both written and spoken-are essential. Interns will gain firsthand experience of magazine editorial operations. They will not, however, do direct editing or writing.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: ART HISTORY/ENGLISH/AND JOURNALISM STUDENTS PREFERRED. This internship may qualify for academic credit. Please check with your school.
