Intern duties include trafficking, proofreading, indexing, clipping and filing, library maintenance, photo research, and correspondence. A background in Art History and/or studio practice is strongly recommended. Good language skills-both written and spoken-are essential. Interns will gain firsthand experience of magazine editorial operations. They will not, however, do direct editing or writing.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: ART HISTORY/ENGLISH/AND JOURNALISM STUDENTS PREFERRED. This internship may qualify for academic credit. Please check with your school.
