About Baby2Baby: 

Baby2Baby supplies Los Angeles families in need with essential baby gear and clothing for their children up to age 12. By distributing new and gently used items to over 50 non-profit organizations including homeless and domestic violence shelters, Head Start programs and hospitals, Baby2Baby serves over 60,000 children each year.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

Baby2Baby interns will have the opportunity to:
- Work with staff from a wide variety of social service agencies
- Assist in programs that distribute essential children's items to low-income and at-risk families
- Gain experience by assisting Baby2Baby team with event planning
- Gain experience in public relations and outreach
- Gain experience with fundraising and marketing
- Work with a small team of employees, influential women, and enthusiastic supporters in a fast-paced environment
- Network with Los Angeles-based businesses, non-profits, and community members.

- Commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours per week in our headquarters
- Support upcoming events by assisting in planning and event execution
- Assist with marketing and public relations
- Coordinate with representatives from homeless shelters, Head Start programs, children's hospitals, and other partner organizations
- Respond to inquiries from the community and work with Baby2Baby staff to distribute items at our headquarters

- Friendly, outgoing, and personable
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and quickly respond to changing organizational priorities
- Attention to detail
-Social media and graphic design experience a plus

Hours Required: 
12-15 Hours Per Week
