About Boss Babes Do Brunch: 

Founded in 2018 by boutique event planning agency Stush Events: Planning & Design. Boss Babes Do Brunch is an organization that cultivates relationships between entrepreneurial, professional, and influential women by curating a number of networking events and learning experiences in NYC. Boss Babes Do Brunch was founded on the belief that mentorship is the key to building experience and success for young professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs. 

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: 

Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.

Knowledge of analytical tools.

Creative mindset.

Ability to work in a team.

Full time student pursuing a degree in Communication or a related field at a credible university

Has a good social media following on personal platforms 

Prior Experience

Knowledge of new social media tools like Sprout Social, Awario, Tap Influence, Google Analytics, and Planoly

 

GRAPHIC/ WEB DESIGNER:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.

Experience as a graphic designer or in related field.

Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.*

Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.*

A strong eye for visual composition.

Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Able to give and receive constructive criticism.

Understanding of marketing, production, website design, brand identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.

Experience with computer-aided design.

 

BLOGGER:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field.

Writing experience or familiarity with certain interests or a specific field.

Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.

Creativity and adaptability.

Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends.

Proficiency with computers, especially content management software, social media platforms, MS Office, and SEO keywords, basic understanding of HTML

Team Player

 

CONTENT MANAGER:

Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field.

Some or 1-2 years experience in a similar role.

Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly computer literate and advanced knowledge of HTML.

Proficiency with popular content management systems.

Experience with social media management.

Creativity and the ability to develop original content.

Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.

Strong leadership qualities.

Internship Description of Duties: 
Social Media Manager Duties: The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts and assisting the social media team with brainstorming campaigns. To be successful as a Social Media Intern you must have excellent knowledge of various social media platforms. A good Social Media Intern combines creative campaign ideas with analytical skills to create successful posts. ( social media handles also required) Graphic/ Web Designer: Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials. Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval. Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software. Website design & maintenance* Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed. Designing event digital & print flyers, brochures, and stationary Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, email templates, and websites with software such as photoshop. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary. Blogger: Our ideal candidate will research topics and develop interesting posts that will appeal to our target audience and promote the blog using social media, direct email, and other methods to alert and expand our readership. You should be a skilled, tech-savvy writer who can create appealing, insightful posts that will reach and grow our audience. (Portfolio also required) Content Manager: Content Managers should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy. Here, content is defined as multimedia articles, blog posts, images or videos that aid in fostering engagement online.
