Clear Channel Radio Digital, a division of Clear Channel Radio, seeks focused and motivated college students (juniors and seniors only) to intern for the 2010 fall semester. This position is part-time and unpaid.
Interns will be working with iheartradio.com - our music and entertainment portal which houses tens of thousands of songs, music videos, artist interviews, photos, news, contests and exclusive live performances! The iheartradio network also includes our free radio application for iPhone, BlackBerry and Android devices, which has been downloaded over 8 million times.
Hispanic Programming and Content
Description: The intern will assist the Hispanic Digital Division in the creation of content and programming of our sites. Responsibilities include conducting market research, aiding in managing editorial content, auditing internal functions as well as managing artist submissions database for Hispanic submissions for NEW! Discover & Uncover initiative.
Qualifications: MUST be Bilingual in Spanish (read and write) and should have a solid grasp of music, celebrities and other lifestyle matters of general interest to the Hispanic community.
Note: Interns in ALL departments will assist in listening to and researching a large volume of music submissions for our developing artist initiative, NEW! Discover & Uncover.
Requirements for all internships:
-Must be a college student in junior or senior year able to receive college credit
-Minimum of 15 hours/week (2-3 full days)
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Photoshop, and Word a must; Outlook a bonus.
-Knowledgeable of the web and social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace,) preferred
-Strong communication skills – written and verbal
-Passion for music and pop culture
-Must be detail-oriented, a fast learner and a team player
