Elite Daily is Millennials’ preferred platform for today’s hot issues and trending topics, from politics to dating and everything in between. We’re committed to meeting the ever-evolving needs of Generation-Y, whether that be a source of information, a good laugh, a shoulder to cry on or a place to have their voices heard. Our staff is made up of young media professionals who, like our audience, have opinions and are brave enough to start the conversations that need to be had.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

The right person should be a college student who possesses a strong understanding of AP style, as well as a general interest in world news, trending issues and viral content.

Skills interns will develop include:

-The ability to edit copy and structure stories within a quick turnaround time.
-Proficiency in AP style
-Ability to discover and identify newsworthy stories, alongside, the ability to find clever, funny, and unique angles.
-Fluency with images, GIFs, video, other forms of multimedia, and SEO
-An excellent understanding of the millennial digital media space and social media platforms.


-Editing multiple stories per day.
-Finding newsworthy content on across the web and social platforms.

Internship Description of Duties: 
Elite Daily is seeking a Copyediting Intern to contribute to the site’s quality and coverage across all verticals, which include: News, Entertainment, Sex & Dating, Body & Mind. The ideal candidate should be a passionate self-starter interested in editing a variety of stories. The intern would work in-office in Manhattan and have access to consistent communication with the rest of the NYC team, as well as mentorship from senior staff members.
Hours Required: 
15-30 Hours Per Week
