Find Your Internship

About Arklu:

Lottie is an award-winning, innovative doll.

Based on the researched scientific proportions of a girl aged nine (with the exception of her head which is slightly larger to allow for hair play), she is sculpted at 7.5” in height to suit the average age of its user which is 6 years of age. Lottie does not wear make-up, jewelry or high heels; she can stand on her own two feet. The packaging is designed with minimal ties and blister and encourages reuse.

Lottie has saran nylon hair to reduce hair tangle, her richly colored fabrics are tactile, highly detailed and easy to dress with Velcro fastenings.

Since launching in late 2012 Lottie is now on sale in over 1500 stores across 14 countries, she has received international media coverage from The Huffington Post, The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, Toronto Star etc.

We are looking to create mini biography downloads for kids of K > 2 age.

These downloads will focus on women of note throughout US history, broadly following what kids learn at age 5-9: K>2 level.

but go beyond that to cover women who have been airbrushed from history.

We'd like to recruit interns who can assist us with researching and writing up these educational downloads.

The downloads are approximately 800 words, or thereabouts; nothing over 1000 words.
