Human Resources Intern will assist with the basic HR functions by receiving practical training from the HR Department and Director Of Operations. The HR Intern will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about the role of the HR professional within The Dinex Group. The individual will also provide support for various HR functions, including but not limited to the following:
Assist with the Recruitment Process
Advertise all positions on Job boards (craigslist, culinary/hospitality institutes/programs hospitality websites, newspapers )
Social Media – tweeting Boulud Careers, advertising on Facebook, Linked In
Source candidates for various types of positions, including writing job descriptions and posting job adds
Contacting candidates from resumes received through job boards or referrals
Scheduling second interviews based on 1st initial interview
Completing letters of employment upon request of manager/ chef/employee
Coordinating Monthly Staff Orientation with the HR and operations team
Run monthly reports (turnover rate, employee onboarding)
Organizing new hire paperwork
Assist with the Benefits Process
Assist with benefit processes and procedures
Administrative assistance with all benefit communication and processes
Assist with system migration of documents
Support with On-Boarding training and follow up with employees
