This is an exciting opportunity to work with well-known and current New York Times bestselling authors.
Don Congdon Associates is seeking an intern who is detail-oriented, well-read in contemporary titles, and enthusiastic about learning the inner-workings of a literary agency. Responsibilities include evaluating manuscripts and query letters as well as light administrative duties such as answering phones and corresponding with authors. Special independent projects will be assigned based on ability and interest.
We are looking for someone who has confidence in his/her reading ability and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have some prior office experience. The position is for two days per week.
