About DoSomething.org: 

DoSomething.org makes the world suck less. One of the largest global orgs for young people and social change, our 3.9 million members tackle campaigns that impact every cause, from poverty to violence to the environment to literally everything else. Any cause, anytime, anywhere.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

Overview: The campaign intern will assist the campaigns team in executing active campaigns as well as researching ideas for new campaigns.

What you’ll do:

Help with day-to-day management of major staff pick campaigns.
Communicate with members who request help for specific campaigns.
Help maintain campaigns within specific cause spaces. This includes monitoring activity, sorting through member submitted photos on each campaign, and general quality assurance.
Research within the cause space.
Brainstorm campaign ideas.
Write select campaign content.
Increase member engagement through campaign competitions and products.

What we’re looking for:

Experience managing complicated projects.
Excellent communication skills: solid grammar, ability to write clearly, good telephone manner.
Strong research skills.
Passion for the causes we focus on (we mean it).
PUSH. We like people who fight for their ideas and constantly try to make themselves better.
