About makes the world suck less. One of the largest global orgs for young people and social change, our 3.9 million members tackle campaigns that impact every cause, from poverty to violence to the environment to literally everything else. Any cause, anytime, anywhere.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

Overview: Young people are on the Internet (duh) and since we’re a brand who cares about young people, it’s important to meet them where they are. This internship is about engaging our existing fans—and creating lasting relationships with new ones—through creative content on our social media, editorial, video, and product channels. You might even Snapchat, like, a dog riding a scooter or something. Not kidding.

What you'll do:

Work with the content team to create dynamic strategies and draft content
Engage with our fans and followers online
Moderate and grow our owned channels
Help our product team create products that embolden the user experience of our members on
Help our marketing and PR team court talent (traditional and new media) to ensure as many eyes as possible see our campaigns

What we're looking for:

Incredible creativity with the ability to pivot
Strong communication skills. Grammar is a must, but you’ve also gotta be succinct and effective in the space of 140 characters
Self-motivation and multi-tasking
Ability to work well alone or with others
Passion about young people changing the world, commitment to social change
Knowledge of Google Drive, Adobe Creative Suite
Not required, but a plus…

Knowledge of pop culture (you know, like the Frozen soundtrack and peach bellinis)
Have the perfect .gif for every situation
