Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

REDBOOK magazine is looking for standout editorial interns for the fall 2016 semester. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in women’s interest magazines, be eager to learn, and be a hard worker with strong attention to detail. You should have some writing or editing experience, and be excited about learning the ins and outs of the magazine industry.

This internship is unpaid and all applicants must be able to receive college credit and work a minimum of 3 days a week. This internship will begin in September 2016 and end in December 2016. This internship is a great way to get your start in the industry and work with a variety of editors on all kinds of projects.

Internship Description of Duties: 
Responsibilities include researching and pitching for body and life sections, completing photo research, transcribing interviews, and working directly with the features department on various tasks. You also have the possibility of writing stories for our website and contributing content to the print magazine as well.
Hours Required: 
15-30 Hours Per Week
