FerenComm is a public relations agency specializing in cable television networks/programs. Clients include AMC, WEtv, Sundance Channel, Participant Television, Telemundo, El Rey, CNBC, Travel Channel, ION Media Networks, Starz, WGNA and Bravo.
We are currently recruiting interns for Fall 2015, beginning mid- August through the end of December. We have one position available on Tuesday and Friday only.
Due to the small size and the “hands-on” policy of FerenComm, we can offer some unique learning opportunities for interns, not available at larger firms. Interns who come on board have the opportunity to work alongside skilled PR professionals in all campaigns being handled by the agency – the kind of experience invaluable to college students.
Our intern responsibilities include the review of publications for breaks, maintaining client files, updating media lists, servicing breaks, and producing press materials. In addition interns are actively involved in our publicity campaigns – making follow-up calls, submitting ideas and attending important media events. Interns will achieve a working knowledge of the broadcast and print press for both consumer and trade outlets, and gain insight into the entertainment industry.
This is an unpaid position and student must be receiving academic credit. A stipend will be provided for travel and lunch.
