Financial Rep Interns with the Northwestern Mutual have the same opportunities to build their careers as full-time representatives. Like financial representatives, our college reps provide expert guidance and innovative solutions for individuals and businesses in the areas of retirement planning, insurance and investment services, estate planning, business planning, education funding and employee benefits.
We are looking to fill internship positions in all of our office locations: Downtown Chicago, Northbrook, Oak Brook and Rosemont. Training will be held throughout the school year, but we are currently recruiting for Summer and Fall of 2014.

•Real world experience - learn to build long term client relationships through networking and prospecting
•Communicate with clients to understand their personal, professional and financial goals
•Work with specialists and full time financial representatives to make recommendations to help clients achieve their short and long term financial goals.
•Initial and on-going weekly training, mentoring & coaching provided by full time financial representatives
•Leadership/Management opportunities available
•Full time opportunities available upon graduation
•Paid internship

Preferred qualifications: To be considered for the position you must be a full-time student at a local college- one within the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs, and have strong interpersonal skills, be self motivated, and have a history of personal success. All majors are welcome to apply.

Hours Required: 
12-15 Hours Per Week
