GlamourGals is seeking a college student to join our team as a PR and Event Planning intern for the Summer 2018 semester. Our PR intern will assist our national team with drafting press
releases, drafting and posting social media content, press outreach, and help manage our day-to-day event-planning operations as a small nonprofit.
The ideal candidate has an interest in PR and social media, experience in G-Suite, excellent communication skills (including email writing, speaking, and telephone etiquette), attention to
detail, and organizational skills. We are looking for a self-starter who has a willingness to learn and a can-do positive attitude.
Experience with nonprofit work, event planning, and social media marketing/PR is a plus.
Interns must be available to work in our Manhattan office at least 2 days a week (Monday-Friday), and attend occasional weekend events.
Duration: Summer 2018 (May 15 - August 15)
Hours are flexible depending on your schedule.
