Good Housekeeping magazine is looking for a 2011 Spring ART INTERN. The right candidate will hold many of the same responsibilities as a full-time staff member, which include conceptualizing art for stories, collaboration with the editorial and photo staff, and designing layouts. Also, the internship candidate will help with everyday tasks such as updating the mock-up wall, scanning, or running errands etc. The intern will also have the opportunity to help style and prop in-house photo shoots, allowing he/she to follow his/her vision through from concept to finished product.
The candidate should be proficient in InDesign and Photoshop. Illustrator skills are a plus.
Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:
This is an UNPAID internship and the candidate MUST receive academic credit.
