•Games.com Platform - a device-agnostic, multi-revenue stream platform that caters to developers both large and small to provide the best monetization, distribution and analytics
•Games.com Destination - industry-leading games site with a custom experience tailored specifically to each user, in each geography, on any device
•Games.com Network - white-label solutions to hundreds of publishers across the AOL network, Ad.com network and other partners
About the Internship:
The graphic design intern will report directly to the Games.com Editor In Chief and have the opportunity to take the lead in creating graphics used throughout the site. Responsibilities may include:
•Creating art to supplement game promotions
•Create logos and graphics for special features and seasonal guides
•Assist with the creation of presentations and mockups
•Assist with and create graphics for site marketing materials
•Intern will also assist in maintaining the homepage and CMS (Content Management System)
•You are currently enrolled in an accredited university or have graduated no earlier than December 2012
•You can work 40hrs/week during the summer months
•You have internship and/or project experience creating art, logos, designs etc. for digital publications (blogs count!)
•You are a pro with Photoshop!
•Experience with HTML, CSS, InDesign a definite plus!
•Experience using a CMS system (Wordpress, moveable type etc.) strongly preferred
•Desired Majors (strongly preferred but not required): Graphic Design, Digital Design, Digital Art, etc.
