HerAgenda.com's mission is to universalize the motto of No one Ever Slows Her Agenda through our online initiatives. The site serves as an information and inspiration hub for millennial women.

HerAgenda provides inspiration through the stories of real women succeeding in their industries while also highlighting the information and resources needed to achieve that success. Resources include the latest in events, scholarships, conferences, internships and job opportunities for young women to reach their full potential.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

Heragenda.com is looking for a few interns to join our team. We serve as an information and inspiration hub for millennial women. Built as an interactive platform created to promote and stimulate the productivity of young women, Her Agenda provides inspiration through the stories of real women succeeding in their industries, while also highlighting the resources needed to achieve that success.

Her Agenda interns will receive hands-on experience with online publishing working for a rapidly growing website. We provide interns with an opportunity to publish and gain exposure in online media. As a Her Agenda intern, you will not only have your work featured on our website, but you will help shape the overall direction of our content. This is your opportunity to contribute to the future of millennial women.

Basic Terms & Requirements

• Interns must be willing to dedicate 3 months to Her Agenda

• Interns are expected to dedicate 15 hours a week to site tasks

• Fundamental HTML knowledge is recommended but not expected

• Interns must be available for a weekly conference call

• Internships are unpaid positions. College credit is available.

Editorial Internship Responsibilities

• Interns will produce compelling, quality content for the site.

• Interns will be required to publish at least two (2) 500-700 word posts each week.

• Interns will review, proofread and copy edit submissions.

• Interns will seek out Power Women to feature on HerAgenda.com.

• Interns will oversee one original column feature. Columns may include written media as well as
video and audio content. Column features may include interviews, roundtable discussions,
media criticism, or personal essays.

Social Media Internship Responsibilities

• Interns will assist with brainstorming, creating, and executing Her Agenda social media strategy

• Interns will leverage social networks to strengthen relationships with Her Agenda readers

• Interns will track and monitor Her Agenda news and social media coverage

• Interns will promote Her Agenda events, news, and promotions

• Interns will perform other social media duties as assigned

PR & Marketing Internship Responsibilities

• Interns will draft basic public relations and marketing materials including press releases,
media alerts

• Interns will assist with brainstorming, creating, and distributing PR and marketing
materials

• Interns will research publicity and marketing opportunities for Her Agenda

• Interns will track and monitor Her Agenda news and social media coverage

• Interns will research and maintain media lists for Her Agenda

• Interns will assist with writing copy for various newsletters and e-blasts

• Interns will assist in planning and executing events for Her Agenda
