About DoSomething.org: 

DoSomething.org makes the world suck less. One of the largest global orgs for young people and social change, our 3.6 million members tackle campaigns that impact every cause, from poverty to violence to the environment to literally everything else. Any cause, anytime, anywhere. *mic drop*

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

General Requirements:

    - Able to travel to our New York City office
    - Passionate about young people changing the world and committed to social change
    - A member of DoSomething.org
    - Love the DoSomething.org culture and can work with a quirky, close-knit team (we mean it!)
    - Able to work M-Th 10am-4pm; Fri 10am-1:30pm
    - Available for one of our two-week cycles (June 22-July 3; July 6-July 17; July 20-July 31; Aug 3-Aug 14; Aug 17-Aug 28)

The cycles are two week sessions as follows: June 22-July 3; July 6-July 17; July 20-July 31; Aug 3-Aug 14; Aug 17-Aug 28

Marketing Intern

You'll be assisting the marketing team by...

    * Researching relevant celebrities, news outlets, YouTube talent, and potential marketing partners
    * Creating press clips to show off the great press coverage we secure
    * Participating in marketing brainstorms
