Boss Babes Do Brunch is a networking and experiential event platform that helps to connect and cultivate female creatives, entrepreneurs, professionals, and influencers. We curate luxury experiences that facilitate learning and networking via our brunch seminars, workshops, pop ups, and galas both live and in the virtual event space.
Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:
Job Skills: researching, note taking, mind mapping / brainstorming, ability to meet deadlines, ability to work independently and with a team, storyline development, strong writing skills,
Requirements: experience in writing (school newspaper, blog, etc)
Crafting texts that are original and well-researched. Tailoring your writing style to meet the needs of our target audience and desired angle of the respective column. Proofreading your assignments to correct errors before submission. Submitting completed assignments in the requisite document format to the editors. Liaising with staff in other departments to ensure that your content attracts maximum reader engagement. Pitching new content ideas that further the development of the magazine.
Additional Requirements:
Either has obtained or is pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communication, or relevant field.
A portfolio of articles written.
Experience writing for a print or online publication.
Excellent written communication skills.
Advanced editing skills.
The ability to make corrections based on notes from coworkers.

Internship Description of Duties:
We are looking for creative, meticulous writers to join our team. To be successful as a writer, you should have outstanding note taking, writing, editing, and research skills. Top-performing candidates should be able to write compelling articles that are cohesive with the BBDB brand. You will be paired with an assistant features editor to research topics, interview relevant individuals, create content, and edit your own or other writers' work.
To be successful as a staff writer, you must be able to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure. A great staff writer is able to perform accurate research and write compelling copy.
Hours Required:
12-15 Hours Per Week
