At Krochet Kids international we are always on the lookout for new energy and support for our work. Interns play a key role in helping us further what we do as an organization and in expanding our ability to fulfill our mission: to empower people to rise above poverty.
‐ Photo of the week for our “Out of the Office, into the Compound” Series ‐ Consistent profile photo updates for individual ladies’ online profiles
‐ Capturing special events that happen on the compound
‐ Documenting the production process
‐ Home visit documentation in coordination with the Program Mentors
‐ Photo‐Journalism style documentation of the areas that Krochet Kids is in. E.g., around town, while traveling, etc.
‐ Special photo projects as dictated by Krochet Kids intl. (product shoots, special campaign shoots, etc.)
‐ Monthly videos highlighting various aspects of Krochet Kids intl.
‐ Capturing special events
‐ Home visit documentation in coordination with Program Mentors
‐ Detailed captions for “Out of the Office, into the Compound” and special events.
‐ Report monthly via the “Media Intern Report Narrative” document ‐ Keep all media organized neatly and named
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, proven strong self‐initiative and ability to problem solve independently, and an interest in storytelling and creativity. Furthermore, the individual will have experience in media collection and journalism with photography. Photography tasks will take priority over videography. The intern must have all their own equipment including computer and camera. We will provide an external hard‐drive that will be returned to us with the captured media at the end of the term.
