Part Time Unpaid Internship:
Lifestyle public relations agency, Konnect Public Relations is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern for the summer of 2015 in our Austin, TX office. Specializing in food & beverage, baby & kids and franchise clients, the intern will gain exposure to a variety of campaigns from working closely with account teams and gain an in-depth knowledge of the industry while working at this fast-paced agency.
Students MUST receive school credit for the internship and need to be available a minimum of 3 days per week from 9am-4pm.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-Assisting the entire agency and helping all of our publicists with PR related tasks.
-Working across divisions and with on several different clients and/or projects.
-Researching media outlets
-Creating media lists
-Drafting press releases
-Interest in public relations
-Working towards Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field
-General knowledge of PR and associated tasks
-Detail-oriented and well organized
-MUST BE RECEIVING SCHOOL CREDIT
