LAW Designs is a Dallas, Texas based jewelry company with a heart to share the imperfect, but brave beauty of this world. All of our pieces are handmade in Texas by owner and creator, Lindsey Adams Williams. Lindsey is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a background in marketing and political campaign management. Since beginning in 2014 LAW Designs has doubled in product output every year and increased reach through wholesale retailers across Texas and the greater US.
Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:
LAW Designs is seeking a qualified intern to join our social media team. We are looking for an intern who can participate in developing social media content, assist in analytical reporting of social media channels, generate marketing materials, and participate in administrative duties.
This intern will finish the program having gained experience in various aspects of social media and marketing, as well as gaining an insight into the management of a small business.
Assist our PR and Marketing efforts through key social media networks: Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Develop new relationships with bloggers and online influencers.
Research, plan and execute strategy with the goal of building community awareness and engagement around LAW Designs' brand.
Will actively moderate social media comments and engage with other brands, influencers and followers on social media accounts.
Will create content as planned by the social media program.
Explore new online and social media tools and implement a developed best practices plan.
Participate in building compelling social media campaigns to actively engage targeted communities.
Will assist in the application of content from the brand ambassador program.
Experience with SEO, including basic understanding of Google Analytics, a plus.
Fluent with digital tools.
Experience in fashion is a plus.
LAW Designs is looking for an undergraduate student or recent graduate who has an interest in Marketing, Social Media and/or Public Relations. The candidate will have completed at least two years of undergraduate study, working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field – OR – a recent graduate looking for social media management experience. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media. Active and familiar with the various social media marketing platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube etc.) Must be able to work a flexible schedule. This is an unpaid internship with the potential for school credit. Dallas area location is preferable but not a requirement.
