The virtual editor: Your primary responsibility would be edit the content of the bloggers and plan the publishing calender with new article ideas and assignment.
Intern will prepare interviews for movie actors, movie directors, new and established music artists, sports figures, music stars and successful entrepreneurs etc. Intern will need strong research skills to gather background information before interviews are conducted.
Intern will be spending time writing, interviewing, communicating, sourcing your own stories, editing & creating SEO optimized content for digital media targeted to benefit teens and entertain them. The duties also include copy editing articles and aggregating entertainment content from the web. Share the content on the social media channels. If you love latest music, movies, keep up with the new artists and enjoy sports you will love this internship.
If you have finished couple editorial internship successfully and think you are ready to be an editor after graduation then this is a great opportunity! After initial training you will be assigned full responsibility of an editor. If you are enthusiastic and excited to make a difference in teens and young adults’ lives by providing them with entertainment & life skills education to be successful, then this is the internship for you. iaam is looking for students who are committed and passionate about a career in the media/entertainment and journalism. Minimum two references needs to be provided.
You should also be able to write quickly and clearly, without grammatical or spelling mistakes, on variety of topics that you yourself think up or have discovered through consuming media. This internship needs strong research skills, communication skills and willingness to work independently after the tasks are mutually agreed upon.
