Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, one of the nation’s leading and fastest growing fine art auction houses, is seeking qualified interns to work in the marketing department.
Interns will be responsible for assisting the director with administrative tasks, including but not limited to marketing research, list building and database entry, event support, image coordination and copywriting.
This is an unpaid internship, but school credit is available.
We are seeking a responsible, highly motivated and organized individual to assume administrative duties that include:
Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:
Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in marketing, media studies, business or communication
Can commit to a minimum 3 month internship
An interest in the art field preferred
Experience in administrative or client service roles
Strong attention to detail and the ability to focus on data entry tasks
Career goal of entering a marketing role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, required.
Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel.
Basic knowledge of Adobe suite preferred.
Willingness to work evening hours for events required
