We are seeking a high-energy, detail oriented, creative, passionate, get-it-done intern for a beauty company with an exciting, growing luxury brand sold online and in brick and mortar retailers. Ideal internship for someone wanting hands on experience working at the intersection of branding, marketing, sales and public relations. Intern will report directly on a team that includes the Creator of brand, a unique opportunity.
-Must be currently enrolled in school and pursuing a BS/BA degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or English related communications field. No High School students.
-Must love beauty and skincare.
-Must have a high-energy, outgoing, bubbly personality.
-Organization skills are a must!
-Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook e-mail required.
-Must possess excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
-Must be familiar with using social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
-Must have your own smart phone and transportation.
As part of the internship, you may have the opportunity to be a part of the preparation for, and the execution of, press events, video and/or photo shoots, trunk shows, store appearances, sales, strategy meetings, and other customer and press facing events. The intern will also have the opportunity for sales training and on the floor interaction with customers and professionals in the beauty, health, and wellbeing sphere. You may also perform general office duties, shipping, and product inventory. This is an ideal internship for someone wanting to see how all different parts of a business come together in a direct, hands-on way. A great launch pad from a team that cares about the professional growth of its interns.
Approximately 10-20 total hours a week. Although all internships are unpaid, there is a travel/lunch stipend provided. If an intern is currently in school he or she may receive academic credit for the internship. Position is available immediately starting this summer and through the fall.
