Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:
Majors in film, journalism, communications, marketing, art, graphic design, business, public relations or related fields preferred
•Writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills
•Strong copy editing skills, a strong command of English spelling and grammar
•General computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) PC and MAC literate
•Demonstrates interest in music, entertainment and pop culture
•Be able to take direction but also take initiative
•Team player who is willing to pitch in and help out a definite plus — creativity welcome! Great Attitude!
•Photoshop skills a plus
Internship Description of Duties:
We are looking for driven interns to be apart of the marketing and distribution phase of our development slate. During this fall semester initiative interns will be responsible for creating advertising and social media marketing strategies to effectively promote our projects, in addition to creating presentation decks and building our brand. These candidates will learn how to attract mass targeted audiences and be responsible for continuous upkeep of our online social presence and website.
This internship will also consist of significant media monitoring and research, document creation and editorial work. Some of these responsibilities include:
•Monitoring and building our social media presence
•Creating presentation decks for various television, film and marketing opportunities
•Social Media Upkeep – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
•Assistance in multimedia production
•Assistance in promoting a recently released feature film
•Editing and proofreading
•Social media community outreach
•Researching - Brands, Sponsorships, Events, News, and Marketing Trends
•Responding to internal and external requests for information
