You will work closely with the marketing team, research team and sales team to persuade key executives to attend the event as VIPs. This is a crucial aspect of our business as the sponsors of our events want to ensure the right people are in attendance so that they can do business with them and achieve a return on investment. Internship Description of Duties: 
We are looking for a go-getter to join our Finance team as an audience development intern. The core responsibility of this position will be to work alongside the conference producer to help target and invite high-level VIPs to attend our growing Trading Show Chicago event taking place in May. This is a fantastic opportunity to get first-hand knowledge and exposure to executives from the world's biggest trading firms, hedge funds, banks and exchanges. Furthermore, the internship will provide great experience in all aspects of event management. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, well spoken and not afraid to get on the phone and call CEOs, CTOs and leaders across the capital markets universe. Trading/investing knowledge is helpful but not mandatory. Event website: We are a fun team and the office culture is exciting. We have regular company social outings/happy hours and other activities in which you'll always be included.
