Maven is looking for a qualified individual to intern for our Marketing Department.
We are a Destination Management Company based in New York. Candidate will join our young and friendly office centrally located in Midtown Manhattan, learn about the travel and tourism industry and grow your Marketing skills.
He/She must be highly motivated and energetic, eager to learn, have an interest in tourism, and enthusiastic with a great attitude. Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Basic knowledge of Marketing is a must, whether academic or gained thanks to a previous internship.
Skills and qualifications:
+ Fluency in a second Language (Italian, German, Portuguese, French, Spanish)
+ Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
+ Organized, detail-oriented
+ Strong research and time management skills
+ Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
+ Knowledge of various social media outlets
+ Support Marketing Department in strategy meetings
+ Assist with the creation, implementation and tracking of campaigns and other marketing activities
+ Assistance with database maintenance and communications
+ Collaborate with other departments
