Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:
The Communications/Marketing Intern will assist Yeung Designs, Inc. with communications, marketing and daily operations tasks. The Intern will learn about the day-to-day details of working in an independent accessories company. Duties will include the development of company communications for different distribution channels, web site maintenance, and order processing. The Intern will also play a key role by assisting with marketing projects that will encompass both on- and off-line marketing strategies, media research, and SEO maintenance for the company web site.
An interest and passion for the fashion and accessories industries.
Experience writing for a blog, SEO-optimized content, and/or marketing materials.
Ability to work closely with others and independently on assigned projects.
High level of organization and ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of social media.
Knowledge of basic HTML coding.
Knowledge of Word and Excel.
Personal computer that may be used at home for remote work.
The intern will be working in a small, fast-paced and high-expectation office environment. This position offers a highly motivated intern the opportunity to influence the direction of the company’s communications development and online presence.
